Memories of a Shadow sample The sound of water dripping echoed down the dark corridors of the prison. It seemed to ring loudly in his ears as there was no other living being but himself. He couldn’t really remember any other human beings except for the occasional fight guard. Of course, he didn’t see much of them either unless they brought him food or if it was his turn to fight. The shackles rattled against the stone floor. The stones felt like his spirit; cold and broken.
